ATS Origin — Private Lesson

You have had ATS Origin running for a few weeks. Whether it made money or not, you now have something more useful than a result: you have watched a single strategy behave when the market did not cooperate.

What I would actually do from here

Keep running one EA if you are still learning how it behaves, or you have not yet seen it through a losing run. There is nothing to fix until you have watched a drawdown and not panicked. That is the whole lesson of the first month.

Add a second strategy when the swings stop teaching you anything new and start just being uncomfortable. That discomfort is not a flaw in the robot — it is what one source of return feels like. The fix is another source that does not lose at the same time, not a better single robot.

Size them against each other, not individually. The common mistake is running a second EA at the same lot size as the first and doubling the risk instead of spreading it. If you add a strategy, the total risk should stay roughly where it was; each one simply carries less of it.

Retire a strategy on process, not on a bad month. Decide in advance what would make you stop — a drawdown depth, a number of months below expectation — and write it down while you are calm. Deciding mid-drawdown is how people end up switching robots forever.

Your bonus: 20% off the ATS Origin Portfolio

The Origin Portfolio is this approach with the diversification already done: multiple strategies across different pairs, tested together, with set files already matched to each other so you are not guessing at allocation.

No pressure either way. The free EA stays free and keeps working whether you take this or not.
